Thanks for visiting 100MileBike.com
I really appreciate your time. Founded in 2009 the website is an extension of my passion and commitment towards cycling, fitness and weight loss.
It’s purpose is to help you achieve the cycling and weight loss goals that you have always dreamed of. I can’t promise that it will be an easy journey. Achieving things that are worthwhile and that have real value rarely are.
The results you experience are in your hands. There is no magic bullet. There are no quick fixes.
But I can guarantee that if you make the commitment to yourself. If you are prepared to learn and train then you will see the improvements and changer that you hunger for.

I’m 36 years old and live in London, UK
My personal fitness journey began in March 2007 when the company that I had founded and built for 10 years went bust. For much of those 10 years I had been working 100 hour weeks, smoking heavily. Living on a diet of junk food. I was 2 stone overweight and hadn’t done any exercise in years.
When the company went bust I lost everything from money to my house and car to contact with my kids. My world had literally caved in. Life could very easily have taken a very bad direction here BUT I chose to start getting fit. I channeled my anger, frustration and energy into getting fit. It was a way of coping. A way of rebuilding my shattered self confidence and self esteem.
I started slowly in the gym and then bought a road bike. My first in 20 years! Over the next 3 months I cycled and consumed every book on cycling that I could find. Immersing myself in the study of endurance sport and cycling specifically.
Within 3 months I rode the route of the Tour de France
In July of that year just 3 months after buying my first bike I rode the entire 2500 mile route of the Tour de France one day ahead of the professionals. This involved riding over 100 miles per day, EVERY DAY for 21 days with only 2 rest days. Enduring epic climbs in the mountains of the Alps and Pyrenees. The video below shows me being interviewed on SKY NEWS when I arrived in Paris.
After I returned to the UK I threw myself into an incredibly intensive endurance training program. I studied and learnt from every source that I could find. I read endless books, web sites, watched video’s talked to other cyclists. In a never ending quest for knowledge and understanding of how to improve my endurance and cycling performance.
What this study and knowledge has helped me to see that it is realistic and very possible for ANYONE who has some desire and some discipline to build their cycling fitness.
